Blue Hills Reservation

Great place for a hike . Skyline trail is fun and has great views . Maps are available for $3 at headquarters. Pond is great for kids and a quick dip . Grills and lots of green space for cookouts.

10 miles south of Boston. 3 day hikes of diff length & difficulty explore Blue Hills . Vistas, observation towers, historic weather station, diverse forest , rock features, wildlife , fall foliage .

Great trails . A bit confusing to navigate at first. You should try to print a map on paper first. Poor 3G and LTE connection for accessing mobile maps.

Beautiful area for a walk and hike , has paved and more rugged paths. Really wish trails were better labeled-bring a compass or a friend with good direction sense! Dogs aren’t always on leashes

Nice little hiking spot. The routs are easy to medium, and the view from the top of the Bucket Hill is awesome.

The scenery is all fine & dandy. But, if you're smart, you'll wear a pair of snake gaiters while tromping about in this reserve ; there are rattlesnakes slithering about here.

Awesome place if you like to hike or even just walk. Tons of trails from easy to hard. Many starting locations to choose from.

Take the North Loop up and the South Loop down. The views are great☺

People need to stop taking shits on the side of the skyline trail between Houghton's pond and big blue. Getting your used toilet paper out of my dogs mouth is beyond disgusting.

If your not really a walker & want a short short walk this is the path for you. We took the yellow trail and it just takes you in a circle.

Great place for a hike ! Some people have their dogs off leash so beware if your dog isn't friendly .

Hike the Skyline Trail . You can see Boston from the top of some of the hills .

The dogs love it. "Technically" no off leash . Wink wink.

Hike to Buck hill . It was the best views in all of the Blue Hills

Think your fit, take the Skyline out on a date. Its a great hike from Canton to Braintree.

Great place for cook out

Rock climbers hang out here. This is an old quarry. Beautiful views !
