Great area for run. Wildlife all around from mountain goats to big horn sheep to waterfowl. Colorado Trailhead 6 miles up adds more to the great scenery.
Pretty easy trail but great scenery. If you're from out of town and want to go on a hike - the change in altitude here isn't severe so you won't get sick.
Great biking or walking. South and west takes you to the upper reservoir and the dam . While north takes you to chatfield state park . Wonderful place.
