Harry S Truman National Historic Site is a history museum Heart of Independence Independence located in United States.
219 N Delaware St Independence , MO 64050 United States
Beautiful little house where President Truman used to live.
President Truman moved into this house in 1919, after marrying his childhood sweetheart, Elizabeth "Bess" Wallace. The couple moved back after Truman left The White House.
The home of Harry Truman, 33rd president of the United States . He lived here both before and after his presidency.
Don't plan on walking from the ticket office to the actual home; the distance between the two spots is very far and has many hills . Take your car over to the site after getting tickets.
Really brought you back in time and made you feel like the Truman’s were still living there.
History, well kept
Worth a visit
