The green line is my favorite place to get work done. Most of the workers are dry friendly and the food is really good. I recommend the sandwich called the Steve! The only downside is no wifi :(
Treat these people well ; they work hard and maintain a customer-friendly, fast-paced, happy attitude; even when the line is out the door. To the GLC Team, we love ya'!
Come hang out at the parklet ! It looks like outdoor seating reserved for cafe patrons, but it's actually public space, perfect for reading a book or doing some work.
You absolutely MUST get a Weckerly's ice cream cup or sandwich . Small batch artisanal ice cream made on-site. It's AMAZING!!
Owned by an artist and her brother-in-law, Green Line and its two sister locations serve only organic , free trade-certified coffee and locally sourced sodas and food.
Love the little parklet next to it. Cute mini park with tables and plants. Hope more of these pop up around w phila
Try the Weckerly's Ice Cream . I personally prefer milkshakes over ice cream , but this is pretty damn impressive. Made in house in small batches.
Get away from those distracting interwebs (no wi-fi here). This location does accept cards now, via Square. Try the sweet potato wrap !
Cappuccino was well made and had a strong flavor. They don't have a lot of food options--just baked items and pre-made sandwiches .
Quaint. Quality. Understated. Thankfully not trying too hard. Matcha pistachio donut was good with my macchiato .
Vegan doughnuts ! To me, the lattes are just okay. Taste a bit burnt / acidic unless you really sweeten. And that's coming from someone who actually likes black coffee
The best coffee shop in university city ...l haveBeen a customersince. It opened and will never stop....Great coffee
Tons of vegan options , try the Steve or dotties donuts !
The pastries are bomb. No wi-fi though, would come here more often if that weren't the case
Now takes credit cards ! Buy some Weckerly's ice cream with yours.
Ted is great and has and endless cache of Jason Bourne mints . Just ask!
Good for fudge Brownie , parfait & root beer !
Good coffee place , try out the sweet potato burrito if you are vegetarian/vegan.
They have Weckerly's ice cream sandwiches here! Try one.
The iced coffee here is VERY good. Espresso , not so much. Choice outdoor seating when the weather's nice.
Great coffee and view of the park
Get the mighty muffin ... It's like a roundhouse kick to the taste buds... Nomz
A soy latte and a vegan moon pie can make even the grayest Saturday perfect. As a plus, Nobody here will ever use words like "grande" or "venti".
Their Apple Cider is the best!
Get the cold-brewed African microlot. It's amazing.
They now take credit/debit cards.
Coffee was very good
Their hot chocolate is the most amazing ever! I'll never order anything else!
There is no Wi do at this green line , which is kind of nice.
pumpkin brownie with chocolate chips . A nice cup of raspberry rooibos tea to go with it. get a window set and check out the people.
They offer day old baked goods at 1/2 price. I'm not complaining! And they use real coffee mugs.
Cash only : ATM inside.
Stop by early in the morning, and they have day-old bagels for half price. They're still delish!
Warning: No wifi
Great place to relax and converse

The renovations are incredible! This space is beautiful, bright, and plentiful. There are many spaces to seat, but the service is also super fast when you're on the go. - Karli Scott
Not a secret anymore, love this place, am dreading being away for most of August, espressos, mochas and tasty bites and sandwiches, try a short iced latte on a hot day. Konga's wonderful, thx Ultimos. - xander s
