In Prague I always stay at the U Tri Pstrosu Hotel right on Charles Bridge ! Rooms are comfortable , service is fine and the location absolutely ideal. I got this tip from Almodovar in one of his films
Hotel is extremely old. So, walking on floors is very noising. I'm always waking up by my neighbors walking. Aaaggghh!!
Lots of cold and hot (no boilt eggs ) food, fruit , pastries . Breakfast underground, no windows,bright . Was asked to pay while breakfasting , which is a bit annoying. No newspapers as far as I could see.
Perfect place to stay: good location, nice rooms and the breakfast is great
The Hard Rock Cafe is right next to the hotel , so you might be able to hear activity from it. Charles Bridge is just a 10-minute walk from here.

Stay away restaurant . Idiot manager with his picture in the menu is not taking care of biz. One poor overworked waitress also tending bar on a Friday night. 2 hour dinner , one hour no service.
