House of the World’s Cultures

Very impressive venue, it is somewhat reminiscent of post-utopian architecture and style. Located in the centre of Tiergarten, it makes a very charismatic location in park surroundings.

“Haus der Kulturen der Welt” is a well respected art institution in the very centre of Berlin and definitively one of Germany’s most iconic venues for projects breaking through artistic boundaries.

HKW not only has great exibitions and events , but also is one of the most visitor-friendly cultural center I've been. Love this place!

Great space for events . Cozy as it should be.

Check whether there's an exhibition visiting. I thought this place would be like a museum (with a permanent exhibition ), but that turned out to be wrong. Especially during Dec/Jan there's few to see.

Top floor, open area , very nice place. Architecture is beautiful and the whole area is amazing.

Their riverside terrace cafe is pretty amazing, but the coffee is atrocious. Stick with tea .

Love to go there for Berlinale

At lunchtime try the delicious & reasonable priced menu (5-7€) at the Restaurant AUSTER.

They don't know how to make tea , and when you ask for cold milk they bring you hot milk .

Als Beitrag der USA zur Interbau wurde die frühere Kongresshalle 1956/57 errichtet. Aufgrund der Architektur wird sie auch "Schwangere Auster" genannt und ist Ort für Kunst und Gedankenaustausch.

Direkt neben dem Kanzleramt und der gleichnamigen Anlegestelle . Hier gibt es Kultur, Events und Konzerte .

Zentrum für internationalen Kulturaustausch. Während besonderer Events wie Berlinale oder City of Lights Berlin erscheint es in tollem Licht.

Die Dachterrasse ist bei Sommerveranstaltungen super.
