Ithaca downtown hotels are actually quite nice... Stayed overnight and the rooms are upgraded, very spacious , and overall really great!! ~plus, free parking ~
Nice room. Free upgrade only if u r the major. There is a smoke smell on the floor. Awesome, very accommodating, go above and beyond customer service. I even a lovely handwritten note from housekeeper
Skip the breakfast here and head to Collegetown Bagels (2 blocks away; leave the main lobby and head left from the front door).
Check out the panoramic views from the wing with room number *09 from the upper floors. Great views of Cayuga Lake , Cornell University and the town of Ithaca.
Make sure you don't leave your room with out a key. You'll need it to operate the elevator

Stay at Hampton Inn instead. This location is due for renovations.....disappointing
