Maesa Elephant Camp

We only stopped here because it was part of our tour but seeing elephants tied to a post in chains... don’t like that kind of treatment.

Stunning experience being so close and having the elephants wrap their trunks around you. One baby elephant even passed back our sunglasses off the ground!! Can't help but wish they were in the wild.

Elephants are NOT photo props. Nor vehicles. The suffering they go through before you cab ride them is immense. Do your thorough research before coming here, all I'm saying.

Elephant are wonderfull, A boot tour is strongly recommended...nature, silence wonderfull
