Here is almost Japan!!!
Everything Japanese. Figurines, food, beauty products. Way better than its predecessor, marukai
Nikka Whisky . What a find.
Great sake and beer selection and take away food.
Going through a remodeling in their food court area so a bit disarranged throughout the store.
Fish section could b the deal - they also sell chirashi for $7 or so and not bad!
Lots of Japanese stuff and some Hawaiian stuff. Mitsuwa doesn't carry much Hawaiian stuff like here.
Layout is confusing but they have an entire Hawaiian section. No more traveling to Hawaii for macadamia nuts .
There's a new Japanese style pasta place next to Daikokuya and Sushi Boy. If you miss Italian Tomato 's hot food, go there!
You can buy cream pan strawberry croissants here. $1 for day memberships.
Takoyaki saturdays! Hit the booth outside and get at least 4 per person, head in and get some tea . Good times.
Great place to get Japanese meats
Membership: $10/year, $12 for 2 people
The only place I can find Kikusui Funaguchi green.
Great place to shop for japanese products
This place is no longer Marukai. It's call TOKYO Central.
There's a Lollicup inside the market right next to the food court .
Great selection of housewares!
Supposedly better prices than Mitsuwa . You have to pay an annual membership fee or be charged a dollar per transaction. Food court is lacking but I love the drinks at Lollicup
Mitarashi dangos and melon pan <3
Currently being remodeled!
Stock up on kimchi and tasty treats
Sashimi n some kimchi = happy stomach
Japanese bakery inside of marukai (Japanese market). Light yet good pastries. - Akiko I
I thought the regular Tonkutso ramen was very good. Large was pretty big. - Jake Schefer
Check out the chef's special. Bulgogi bibimbap is a safe bet. - Francis
A wide variety of produce and Japanese grocery items. Prices are much cheaper than other Japanese supermarkets :) - Cody L.
This is my favourite grocery chain in SoCal. I’m obsessive about value and I get it here. It has a great butcher counter and the house brands are great quality. - Eric Liboiron
Tons of manga and video games. Great for rare imports, but they have English stuff too. - Chris Miller
