The most lovely, quiet Italian spot — felt like I had transported to Sardinia. Incredible wine list - we loved the hurrays arugula salad and whole roasted prawns
Get the Sardinian bread , spaghetti with the fish roe , roasted prawns (legit so soft and delicious) burrata salad , amazing wines !
Amazing little Sardinian neighborhood eatery , with impressive Italian wine list. I highly recommend the baby octopus stew and sea urchin pasta !
Fabulous, intimate , fun and DELICIOUS. Particularly love the family running this neighbourhood gem.
Cannonau wine . Rank order:spaghetti perf al dente , chewy & garlicky. Squid ink linguine=lemony & crisp. Sea urchin pasta=heaviest of 3 & like a salty sea urchin flavor pearl couscous . Terrific EVOO .
Make a reservation in advance. If you order 1 appetizer , 2 first, and 2 main = perfect portion size for 3 people. Don't forget a bottle of wine because they have an amazing list.
Check in BEFORE you get seated; they ask no electronics be used at the table. After that, order the squid , then the perfectly cooked & seasoned Spaghittusu Bottariga . It lives up to the hype.
I loved the spaghetti for the pasta dish and the octopus for the starter. Also try the crispy flatbread
Fabulous staff . Fregula with uni and tuna heart is a winner! Don't forget to check out the wine list too. Comes close to dining in Italy.
Not so much San Francisco Italian, as pure unadulterated regional Italian, this family-run sparkler is free of pretension and full of love. Don’t miss the sea urchin pasta . [Eater 38 Member] Read more

Baby octopus and spagehet with fish roe 🙌🏻 backyard patio was also great and tables are distanced.. great food👌🏻
amazing!! I love their pasta dish, but i can't ever find the name online. But it's a pork and pasta w/ red sauce
Imagine the most tender octopus in an italian mole-like stew . Combine that with delish pasta , meat plates, and incredibly kind service - win win win.
one of the only places in the city you can get Argiolas wine . Burrata is perfect. Get the seafood or fish - meat is done better elsewhere.
All of the dishes are wonderful. Fresh fish , the pork Scalapino, but rats cheese appetizer , best prosciutto ever!
Try the feather-light flatbread called pani guttiau, the roast sea bream with olive sugo, or the signature prupisceddu in umidu, velvety octopus stewed in tomato sauce : Read more
Don't miss the Spaghittusu cun Allu Ollu e Bottariga (Fresh Spaghetti Spicy Garlic Oil Salt Cured Fish Roe )

Amazing food, great people. Always get the baby octopus stew . Their margherita is perfect too. Good wine list , lately they've had a great Burrata dish too
Spicy octopus stew , uni tuna heart pasta , lamb chops , the special pasta of the day. Delicious.
The spicy octopus stew is as awesome as everyone says. Use the bread to sop up the extra sauce.
Octopus stew . This alone makes the place phenomenal.

The baby octopus is incredible. What a great, intimate restaurant .
If you appreciate food, this is a must visit. The husband/wife team who run it do a wonderful job!
The octopus stew !!! Everyone raves about it and it's worth it!
Baffling to me that this place is as popular as it is. The food is profoundly whatever. Also the owner is a MAGA nutjob.
Best Sardinian restaurant in SF. Family-run. Pasta is unreal.
If you get the traditional Sardinian dish, be warned - it's flavor is really strong
Everything is great!
Everything. Sounds boring, but the mixed greens are amazing.
So much good food, focus on the pastas if you’re worried about ordering too much.
Love the place! The owner is SO warm and sweet. The food is superb! Octopus stew , calamari , burrata are the best!!
