As a Food Truck we had a fabulous day at the Gourmet Food Truck Event . Met some great people, great customers and all round superb atmosphere.

Great place to come for the races. But due to crowds on big days your going to either have to pick to camp out in front of the paddock or in front of the track to watch the races.

Located at Del Mar Fairgrounds, the racetrack has two racing seasons and weekend races usually have live music and entertainment. If you are sitting in the grandstands, check out the infield as well .

Even if you are not a gambler , pick a fun or cute horse name and join the fun.

Beautiful venue with a picturesque view of the ocean side. Concerts are good here as well as the last 5k I participated in.

If you park Valet- ask if they will park your car in front so it isn't buried! And make sure you take care of your valet guy! $$

We attended the 2017 Breeders' Cup, so I'm unclear how different the track would be on more typical race days. Wasn't favorably impressed with the buffet at our restaurant overlooking the paddock .

Second time I've been here and it's always a good experience. Make sure to come early since Gen. Parking gets full so quick!

Always a good time - check the calendar to see when they are having post race concerts , they bring in excellent and well known artists for shows

1. You can bring non-alcoholic beverages and snacks for a picnic . 2. Great race hats are a must. 3. Don't bring easy-up or umbrella or anything glass.

Before each race, all the horses come out for a showing (near the front gate). Make sure you go and look at each horse in the eyes. Then you'll know who to bet on!

The races are amazing, the sights are beautiful. It is pretty cheap to just go watch the races without betting much money.

Be sure to stop by Whittingham bar for a sliced roast beef sandwich on sourdough and a drink!

A good place for fun to dress up and feel fancy for a day. Also a good excuse to buy a big hat!

Mobile betting is nice (only if you're at the track ). I like not having to get up to fight the betting crowds :)

Get the wristband! 5 cups of 7 oz beer for $17!! And manga manga is a win!!

Place your bets early. The lines get pretty long and can take forever, especially on weekdays.

Don't buy your taco's at the outside taco stand go to the 17 hands bar they are so much better and cheaper!

You can go down right next to the track for free! Very exciting and fun!!!

Everything is great here except the drink prices.

Never a bad day at this track . Ambiance, staff , people are always thumbs up.

You cannot use the mobile app for betting everywhere so plan ahead if you want to wander around.

Head in early to check the horses warming up

Bet on the horse with the smallest penis. It has to compensate and get praise other ways, therefore, it will run fast.
