Wildwood State Park

Visit the onsite convenience store to rent a fire pit basin and to purchase firewood.

Gave them a second chance and fell in love. Call ahead, online booking isn't always accurate -- but the parks crew here are top notch these days, and the park is quieter post-Irene.

It is a lovely park for easy level hikers. I recommend having a picnic there by the water on a day with good weather.

Beautiful park to spend a day at. We love to stop by Lewin farms on the way get some fresh fruits and veggies and make a day out of it.

Lots of wildlife to be seen on the hiking trails , but be sure to protect yourself against ticks before heading out.

Poor privacy, less than professional staff , but a great view . Best advice: DIY everything and avoid the main building crew. My last choice for LI parks , and I truly wish it weren't so.

One car per campsite . No alcohol . No fire pits . Bring a steel container. Pretty empty here now. But all in all a nice place.

good camp site just wish the walk to the beach was shorter. But all in all a good time.

Can not have two cars at the campsite at the same time, leave the other car at home.

Solo cup and "adult beverages " to avoid being thrown out of the park .

Lots of deer ticks beware!

Don't forget to hike down the haunted "Fishermans' Path"!! =)
