Max-Schmeling-Halle
Die Max-Schmeling-Halle wurde zusammen mit dem Velodrom und den Schwimm- und Sprungsporthallen für die Berliner Bewerbung um die Olympischen Spiele 2000 gebaut. 1996 im Beisein von Max Schmeling eröffnet, ist sie heute die Heimstätte des Handball-Erstligisten Füchse Berlin (Fuchsbau).

The home of the Füchse Berlin handball team. The food inside the hall is good value and there is a great atmosphere during the matches. Perhaps go for a stroll in the Mauerpark before the game . .
This is ten minutes walk from the Ebelswalder Straße. Be sure to bring cash as they do not accept card . I had to walk back ten minutes to the nearest ATM before I can get in.
