Service was excellent as well as the food, it was more of a dining experience then just dinner . The staff took us on a journey and we had so much fun.
Like the new tastes? You should 100% try this Ethiopian restaurant . After dinner , don't forget to get your coffee along with the popcorns . This is the tradition!
Really good Eritrean / Ethiopian restaurant . Much better than the examples you find at street markets ! A great place to enjoy vegan food - have the mixed plate to enjoy a little of the best dishes.
Our favourite Ethiopian & Eritrean restaurant in London. And after a long pandemic closure it is open again! Delicious food and wonderful people running it. A great dinner experience.
Extremely friendly staff . Worth coming all the way. The set menu is enough for two. Recommend: Adi Ugri set as shown in the picture. Must try Tusker Kenyan beer and freshly brewed Eritrean coffee . :D
The food, the staff and the experience were excellent. We were met with a smile and a relaxed homely atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service great in an informal way.
Excellent food. Very very friendly staff and owner. Try the traditional coffee . It's amazing ! They'll let you smell the roasted beans and later u'll experience the whole culture !
Excellent place, nice food- unique eating experience. Prepare to eat with your hands! Ask for help in the menu and be honest about it :-) they will help to the maximum. Try the sexy mosob !
Excellent Eritrean food and friendly staff . Eat like the natives and order the raw kitfo. Large portions served on delicious injera .
The owner is so friendly and really tries to help you out with the food if you are a "newcomer" with Ethiopian food . Bear in mind: the set menu 's for two are quite large!
Super tasty food! Everytime I bring friends here they are impressed. Great servers too, always friendly and helpful. Ben (I think the owner) remembers you and is great to chat with :)
A great experience. Dishes on the menu are served on a platter of Injera , to be shared amongst the group on one plate to mark the bond of friendship. Full review: https://tmblr.co/Znpk9v23yfscr
I'm not completely sold on Ethiopian food , but the staff are so friendly it's completely worth the visit. Be sure to brush up on your capital cities !
Friendliest bunch of people I have ever met in a London restaurant . Had the Assab veggie set menu ; loved the spinach rolls. Highly recommended and I can see Mosob becoming a regular habit.
Amazing food! Really nice Eritrean experience! Try the spinach rolls. Also good value , not too expensive !
Incredible food and friendly people. We tried a set menu so we sampled a range of meat and veg dishes . They have Ugandan and Kenyan beer .
Excellent Eritrean restaurant , kind staff , tasty food.
Amazing experience! It was the first time for me to taste the Eritrean cuisine and I loved it: spicy and tasty :)
"Eritrean restaurant in Paddington. Similar to Ethiopian food (sharer plate, injera bread , eating by hand), although the food was spicier than most Ethiopian places I've been to." - http://qr.ae/pW8W2
Every thing was delicious, share one of the marvellous menus. The staff it's great too!
If you go in a group, Ben the Owner will suggest that you go for a set meal + a main to get more variety. A recommendation worth going with!
The food is amazing for a reasonable amount of money. Also it’s run by a family and they are great hosts, friendly and warm place.
If at loss, ask! Super helpful staff !The set menu helps cover all the basics and is delicious! Give the cardamom tea a shot!
Super tasty Ethiopian food . Very big portions , fair price , nice atmosphere. Give it a try!
The sharing plates are great! So much food
Amazing food! You will love this place! Nice beers and wine as well . Approve
Brilliant African food . Prepare to use your hands. You can see why it's rated so highly. The owners are attentive and caring.
Traditional Ethiopian in an ambiant setting
The service was very slow but when the food arrived, it was a delight to finish the plate. Very flavourful dishes. Minced beef and lamb were the standout dishes.
Fantastic food and super friendly service . Highly recommended! Will be back
Great food, and very friendly service . Overall, a great place for a casual dinner with friends!
Great food and friendly people. Worth à visit
Go for the sharing platters and ask about Eritrea - you might learn something new:)
So true about the geography trivia . Might be worth doing a quick study of an atlas before your visit.
Skip starters and go straight for the main course. My fav's are the lamb zigni and Spinach with cheese curd . Delicious!
Defy the menu and get the kitfa raw/medium. It's out-of-this-world delicious.
Definately a place to check out! I enjoyed the meal, the coffee ceremony and the geography challenge . :)
Perfect sharing platters of deliciousness
Enjoyed the food here but we did get sat next to the toilets and the service was slow. Might have been an off night. Owner was friendly .
Perfect food. Tusker tastes a bit caramel flavoured.
Amazing. Try it if you like different types of food.
The Zigni is a must!! It's lovely. The staff are also very friendly .
