Love the food here. Sashimi is always fresh and served super chilled on ice. Homemade tofu is also lovely. My favourite self treat is the stone cooked wagyu ! Melt-in-your-mouth; totes worth it!
I tried a few dishes with the chef 's hat: garlic fried rice , salmon chanchan yaki, teba wings . Everything was amazing and went transcendentally well with the Jap whisky . Best Jap in KL thus far.
kuriya special roll is really nice, fresh sashimi , worth the price tag. set dinner portion is good, lots of side dishes.
Food here is generally good. Sashimi and sushi are fresh and succulent, while the hand rolls are great. Order the Dragon Roll . Soba is made fresh daily. Try it.
I enjoyed the Unagi Tamago Soba . What's not to like? Unagi and poached egg . Yummy.
Aburi Sushi Mori. Seared sushi plate. Was good. Left me wanting more.
Garlic fried rice is good. N find their soya bean curd is pretty interesting.. House sake is not bad for around rm250 at 1.8L
Fresh Sashimi , interesting homemade tofu , delicious beef and chicken ball udon
Famous for the fish dishes . Unagi ❤️ can be pricey . Set quite filing. Tried the 3 different fish .
The set lunches are really good. I always order the udon .
Good choice of sashimi , go for cold soba set, oysters and yakitori
Rm100.30 for this sushi set:) overall the food is fine. Unlimited FOC green tea !! Yay 🍣 🍵
Having lunch with couple of friends. Quite a seclude place with smoking area overlooking the Bangsar street.
Bog standard Japanese restaurant . No surprises on the menu - which is fairly extensive
Sushi is quite good. Shabu Shabu is not bad either
Table setting like coffee shop ... 2 person dining can have 2 sets of chopsticks and only a spoon... what an unorganised restaurant ! Whoever who read this please do not step in to experience this
A lot more thought should be placed in hiring the supervisor. One who does not know the menu and make sense of what he perceived is being ordered should really do his homework. A disappointing visit!
Regret coming here .... I will spread this scenario to all my media friends... Can ask the management to close shop and go back to where they belong...
Nice ambiance for lazy Sunday brunch . Food is ok 😁
Service is not bad thou, but the food, for me is quite pricy because portion is small and nothing special. The sushi is hella expensive , and I don't think it's fresh 😑
kaisen & yasai fry miso fondue Is delicious.... but splatters. Double niku soba is tasty. ikura sushi is perfect!
The mushroom soup with butter served in aluminium foil is very good! Can't remember the soup name though.
Found a hair in my tempura don. The manager gave us a replacement and a complimentary scoop of green tea ice cream . Good service .
Duck + egg on cold Soba . So good
The standard of food has dropped remarkably. Service was appalling. I had to ask for my tea to be refilled 3 times.
One of the best Japanese restaurants in KL
The grilled salmon is really good.
Standard have fallen substantially while price continues to go up. No longer somewhere I would visit.
Double niku soba is very good. Broth, noodles and beef all good.
Wagyu bbq good
Reasonable price for set lunch !
Overall was not bad. Wagyu was a bit dissapointing though.
Delicious but quite pricy .
the food here is really good.. love their ikura sushi and tempura
The service here is extremely poor. The manager stood at the other side of the table partition to take our order and he looks like he is in such a hurry to take order... it's very rude and unpleasant.
The Hayashi-san special is my fav. Not on the menu
For those who wsnt to dine in this restaurant I would say "FORGET ABOUT IT" the status of this restaurant doesn't match the quality of service...
Double niku soba is good
Cold soba of course!
The fishes are fresh flown in!
Phui ! Phui ! Phui ! Phui !
Never ever before dine in to Japanese restaurant with such a rude treatment... normally Japanese are very polite ... No wonder it is owned by SINGAPOREAN Company .... kiasu and rude !!!!
Waste my time and not value for money for all these no big deal Japanese food ... u csn get these kind of food in any other Japanese restaurant ... I repeat The Manager service SUCKS !!!!
Don't order the Tofu Au gratin...tofu and cheese ...too strange,
Double nikku soba is good, but is overpriced.
U will be surprise... its after Christmas and Christmas sing still being played in this restaurant .... SERVICE BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD ...manager RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE
This to me is NOT chu toro . But they are charging $98. Cancelled it.
Not worth it - quality of Sushi Zanmai for the price of proper Japanese. Sushi is average, wasabi not fresh, expensive omakase
Service is slow due to insufficient manpower. Flavors are nothing to shout about
The service was terrible..the lady failed to remember whats the order was..not once but twice with a wrong plate of meal..
