The butter chicken and okra masala are always in our order. And we order a lot. My Indian fiancé and I both think this is the best Indian food in the city .
Delicious and inexpensive . However, it is not a quick lunch stop: our food for 3 took nearly an hour to arrive at our table when we ordered at 12:45. Definitely worth the wait, but plan accordingly.
Can't believe I've been coming here for years and have just now tried the paneer chili and chicken rasala for the first time. Yum!! But the okra and the tikka masala are still my favorites. :)
Delicious Indian food at a reasonable price in the heart of SF. My go-tos are chicken tikka masala with garlic naan
Incredibly good for Indian restaurant ! With nice service! Try the chicken tikka masala and the malai kofta !
Tasty, friendly Indian food in The Loin. Order roti (whole wheat bread cooked in the tandoor), a Kingfisher beer , and eat with your hands! If you order a dish 'spicy ' expect not very much spice.
Very good indian dishes , for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. We had the Chicken Badami and the vegetarian hot plate and it was more than enough for two, at a very good price!
Chicken Tikka Masala and Badami Chicken are delicious!!! Vegetable Pakora and Simosa appetizers are scrumptious! 😍
Kingfisher Beer and vegetable pakoras were a good start....and we loved the garlic naan and malai kofta too...yum...will be back soon :)
The Lamb Tikka Masala is delicious!!! You must try it. And the garlic Naan as well
The special naan was lovely. Lamb saag and butter chicken were rich. Okra was fresh, caramelized with onions . Decent beer/wine selection for the tenderloin.
Great food, but one serving is enough to fill three! Tip: go with a group and share just one or two dishes between you.
Vegetable korma is one of the most creamiest, vegetablest, yummiest curries out there. Pretty much everything else is good too!
Food is delicious! Prawn biryani was my favourite. Kabuli nan is sweet and almost could be eaten as a dessert :)
You have to wait for a long long time... But at the end, the food is really delicious!!! And the Mango Lassi is the best!!!
My favorite indian restaurant !!! Good ambiance and service too. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Samosas are really good!
My favorite place in the world. Best tikka masala in SF. Also great for delivery ! I've had their food five days in a row! Going for six. Get the Kerissa tikka masala !
Solid curry . Great garlic naan . Nothing out of this world, but a solid choice for Indian if you're in the area
Biryani is the best I've had in SF and the naan is amazing
Tikka Kebab and Tandoori . Best of both.. Yummylicious! 😋
Badami chicken , chai and amazing hospitality
Best Butter Chicken I have ever put in my mouth. So very tasty. They also do delivery for those days you just want to stay home and relax.
Chicken tikka masala , peas pulao, and garlic naan make a great combo!
This place has the best tikka masala I've ever had, and I've had a lot of good curries .
Try chicken tikka masala , butter chicken ! Also great chai ! Affordable prices
The Badami Chicken is phenomenal. If you love creaminess, get them immediately.
Nothing fancy here, just really good authentic Indian food . Crowded , even on a Monday evening. Give this place a try!
It may not look like much from the outside, but don't let that sway you. The food here is awesome
This is the spot. The saag paneer and dal makhani are both delicious.
Their 'Speciality' dish, a kind of paneer sizzler is must try!
One of the best indian restaurants in town . Great food, great prices, big portions .
Lamb briyani and the roti (pita bread ) are delicious especially with chai tea......and a monster drink
Try the Samosa - Fried pastry shells stuffed with spicy potato es, served with chutney .
Chicken tikka is great. Good garlic naan too
The badami chicken is some of the best Indian food I've had ever
Lamb tikka masala ! The best Indian food I've ever had
The $6.99 lunch special is great value .
So yummy 😍
Go for lunch , cheap and get your money's worth!
The paneer makhani, a sweet and savory delight!!!
I feel like I have found home. Reminds me of little Indian places in London. Try the butter chicken .
cheap lunch specials ! you'll probably also leave smelling a little like curry . food is good, especially for the price.
Loved their chicken tandoori & butter chicken . But the place is old
The service isn't very friendly , and with a mostly-empty restaurant they seated me facing directly into the dish washing room... but the food was very good, at least.
The tea was good/ ok. We got a bunch of other things (chicken saag , dal makhani , kebab platter) and they were all underwhelming.
Badami Chicken is so so good. Try this with garlic naan !
Butter chicken with rice and raita is delicious
probably the best indian in the city
Even if you can handle spicy food , you're better off asking for regular spice and adding hot sauce if necessary. Spicy is SPICY .
The food is very good. Really very authentic.... Was a pleasant surprise....
The happy hour is one of the best in SF. Super cheap beer and samosa and pakora, etc. - Steve Metz
Almost everything is excellent here. Favs: chicken tikka masala and bhindi (okras, whenever they have it). - S L.
Definitely try the paneer makhani! Mysore dosa is also really yummy - Nicole Rocchio
Great food court in the basement. It's the main reason I come. - Brian Strauss
You must try the Dolby theater if audio quality is important to you. It’s the best in the city. - Tantek Çelik
Lefty o'douls ,great beers on tap...:) wonderful sandwich 9_10.00 but good - Harry Edwards
