Chaparral Dog Park is a dog park Maricopa County Arizona located in United States.
5401 N. Hayden Rd. (at McDonald Dr.) Scottsdale , AZ 85250 United States
My dog loves this place!Clean, lots of space for dogs to run. There is an area for large dogs and small dogs so you have control over what size animals your dog plays with!Water/clean up bags available
Take your poo bags and I wouldn't trust sitting on any benches . I've seen many dogs at the park mark their territory on anything in sight! Great place to let your pup run free though!
Please learn the etiquette: If someone is in the unleashing/leashing area, wait until they are done and out before coming in & please don't keep your dog on its leash in the park , it creates anxiety!
Great dog park ! Two sections to separate active and passive dogs. Everyone is nice and manages their dogs as best as they can. I wish I lived closer!
Don't bring small dogs on the big dog (active) side, small dogs are the size of a big dogs chew toy , so if it gets attacked don't be surprised. Keep them in the passive dog area for their own safety!
Great park . Two sides for large active or smaller passive dogs. Remember it's closed for cleaning Tuesday and Friday 8 to noon.
I cannot date this enough: this is a DOG PARK , not a playground . Bringing young children is IRRESPONSIBLE! Even a well-behaved, socialized dog may not be familiar with children. Use common sense !!!
All sizes welcome. Two of the three parks are open at once so the little ones can play safely.
By far the best park in the valley. Make sure you know that "Active" and "Passive" signs don't mean "Big" and "Small" it means temperament.
Great park ! I'm always on the passive side and owners watch and clean up after their dog. Spike loves to play with all the dogs here, and most dogs are very friendly !
Here's a tip: there is an ACTIVE side and a PASSIVE side. Know where both you and your dog belong. Makes it that much more enjoyable for everyone involved.
I love the separate areas for active and passive dogs and it's always very clean .
Plenty of space & always tons of dogs!! My dog loves playing with friends!
Great park , only complaint is inconsiderate owners who have large, active dogs in passive area. Smaller dogs often get trampled and hurt as a result. Such basic common sense is not honored.
This is a DOG park , NOT a playground . Please leave your small children at home or find another park with nearby playground . Thanks.
Too busy to make it out some days? Call us and we'll make the visit easy for you and fun for your dog :)
There's still a lot of people out there that don't/won't pick up after their dogs. Don't be a dick.
The fireworks after a nearby graduation ceremony freaked out the dogs on Wednesday, May 26. They ran frantically to the gate in fear. Several dogs were able to crawl under the gate and took off runnin
I seriously don't understand why people are so upright about their digs drinking out of water bowls . There dogs... it doesn't matter.
Watch your step on the Active dog side. For some reason owners on the passive side clean up after their dogs more.
Park is closed for maintenance Tuesday and Friday 8 to Noon.
A more proper name would be "Chaparral Children's Playground "
Clean up at your dogs! They have bags for you!
Yeah I see alot of sh____ on the grass oh well cocoa loves it hope all the dogs had shots
Great, large park for passive dogs of all sizes.
Walk around with your dog--that way if there is an aggressive dog , you are close by.
Make sure to pick up your pet 's leave behinds. :) Makes for an easier way to find a piece of grass to SIT on :)
Great way to meet people who have something really significant in common with you - they love their dogs enough to take them to the park .
Two separate fenced-in areas in use for active and passive dogs. Minimal shade and seating. Bring your own chair.
Nice and clean !
One of the best parks in the area!
Ew don't let your kid play in the sand! Dogs pee and poop in there all day!
Always an interesting place to people watch !!
Best dag park I think next to Cosmo
Well maintained dog park , planners did well on separating passive and active dogs.
My dog sucks. Don't play with him.
Gate security : don't open the gate if the other open.
The best dog park in the Phoenix valley! Read more
Lots of cute girls
Dog waste removal bags provided. Lot's of unpicked up dog waste. Come on, people! Gross!
Do not let your kid play the recorder at the dog park . Badly.
this dog park is terrible. it smells like urine and owners do not control their aggressive dogs .
Val and Teddy love it here... perfect place to take a breather after a run. - Carolyn Colón
Parking is kind of difficult to find at first. Great lake and trail for running. Lots of space for pinics - Shaylin Brada
The food court has an awesome selection! 5 Guys and Paradise Bakery are two of the best options, can’t go wrong either of those. - Augie Bobik
