Pros: Incredibly nice staff , free (but sometimes kind of slow) wifi , convenient location, decent place to get work done. Cons: knitting parties on Monday nights that take up 20 seats. Wtf

The Mexican Grill in Tart to Tart used to be L'Avenida, still great in the new location! Not to mention much more seating.

Try the chocolate pecan tart . It's incredible.

Staff is super friendly ! Want some tasty noms? I like to get the Turkey Sandwich #1 on sourdough bread accompanied by an Italian soda . Mmmm!

Now 2 hour free wifi . Lemon muffin is the best! And the chocolate mousse is perfect. I recommend trying the chicken curry sandwich if you're hungry.

Two things happened to us here last night:1)a rat ran from the area of the cake case toward the restroom 2)dude behind the counter put his finger in his nostril then grabbed the milk ...won't be back.

This is my go-to place near home for working online. Their wifi is free, and the staff is always very friendly & unintrusive. :)

Of all the tarts , the Apricot is by far the best one. If you don't feel like a tart , try their chocolate mousse . These guys are open until 1a (2a on F/S). Say hi to Hoy and Young.

have a sandwich while you're working. Their egg salad is always fresh, if you're a fan. Highly recommend the curry chicken sandwich , too, with chocolate mousse for dessert !

The blueberry brioche looks better than it tastes. Go with the fruit tart .

Chocolate Muffins with Cream Cheese

Pros: Only spot for working late in Sunset , outlets for computers, nice people. Cons: No free wi-fi, bitter coffee may lead to the dreaded mud butt.

Best reading spot on Irving...top it off with a nice chocolate chip cookie (the one with nuts ).

Try chocolate raspberry cake with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream = heaven!
