The Monastery

On my PHX metro dog-friendly list. Not my favorite place in the world, but pretty much everything is outside so bring the pack. It's very much a "backyard party" with open bar & cook-your-own BBQ tho.

Be sure to show up for one of their events that are listed on their website! They are so fun! Very relaxed environment with bonfires ,reasonably priced drinks and food you grill yourself!

Wed great service! Beer is cold, glass kept full, food hot and good. Even water for my Sheepie. 5 star tonight.

Great hidden bar . Lots of activities like volleyball , foosball , karaoke , corn holes , etc. Looks like a really nice patio at your rich friend's house.

Happy hour deals , wings , beer , volleyball , casual , outdoor set ups, corn hole , ping pong , pool and overall great bar food .

Great place to play sand volleyball and do your own grilling. Visit the Air Force museum up the street to see classic planes and jets up close.

Amazing atmosphere !!!!! Will DEFINATELY make this place a regular stop!!!!

Ran out of guinness so had to have a Jameson. Wings were good and the fries excellent.

Try the chicken wings . If you crave a BLT the bacon is piled on.

Tuesday special of 3 tacos for $1.99 is a joke. 3 tacos don't even make one. Stop at Taco Bell before coming here on Tuesdays.

Out side is nice and dog friendly but service at 5:40 on a Tuesday SUCKS. Only 15 people outside.

Fries were good tonight. The wings Hot were as hot as the naturals. Waitress was good. 7&7 with Mist not Seven. Funny taste.

This place is amazing. Have an epic cookout with friends, chill by the firepit , and play some volleyball . Worth the drive!

I love the monastery! Even the volleyball court !

The service was awful. It took forever to get my food, & it was just okay. Someone in my party sent back her grilled chese sandwich because it was burnt. Definitely not coming back here.

24 minutes for outside service. And that's just to order a beer . Another ten minutes for it to come. To the table. The waitress says oh sorry.
