What's good here? Everything. Burgers . Tacos . Guacamole is best in Memphis. Don't bother ordering the cheese dip unless you add pork - Obviously. Indoor/outdoor bar is better than a swim up bar .

The shrimp and grits were so good, chorizo meat in it as well . Followed with guacamole that they make at your table. Service was great. I will be back here, trendy spot in the south

The Babalu has very relaxing furniture and you will definitely feel comfortable . The guacamole is especially amazing and they self-make it in front of your table.

Was here Saturday night for the charity event and had to come back. Tried the queso , baba burger and potatoes all fantastic. All of the drinks we had were great as well . Love the space.

Babalu had quickly become a favorite in Memphis. The guacamole is delicious. Also. The burger . Ahhhhhh-mazing. I would eat this every day.

Be prepared for a wait but it's worth every minute. In the meantime, grab a Pepe O'Malley at the beautiful bar and people watch .

It's a super trendy place , but I just wasn't overwhelmed by the flavors. Good presentation and atmosphere though.

Appetizer menu is strong and if you're dining with a group, definitely go for the table side guacamole . Skip the Cuban sandwich - it's super dry

Patio is nice but since we sat at the bar , the air conditioner was on full blast above us and our food. Lamb Barbacoa tacos were interesting!

Stick to cocktails and the left side of the menu. Good bets are the elote and the table side guacamole . Skip the Cuban sandwich

Everything was good. Black- eyed pea hummus and chicken satay (teriyaki ) were our favorites.

Lamb tacos were great! Definitely order the table side guac ! Sangria was also amazing.

I had the Friece Shrimp . And the bread pudding for dessert . Both were great.

Great food, super margarita , and fun atmosphere !! A little loud for serious conversation though!

La Vaca taco is my favorite. Staff at the bar are very attentive.

It's great in atmosphere & people watching but you can get better stronger and cheaper drinks & apps elsewhere. Im just never blown away by this place. Just meh for me.

Steak on a stick was amazing! Drinks tasted like kool aid tho... not enough alcohol
