Great for a party! Cheap and big portion sushi . The katsudon (fried pork on rice ) was amazing. Very creative rolls. Full squid was to die for. Boxed sushi wasn't that good though. Overall great value .
Always fresh sashimi , the tamago is perfectly executed. Order the kamameshi , but not if you're feeling ravenous..it takes abt 20mins to make. Also the ankimo (monkfish liver ) is soo smooth!
i know this sounds silly, but you have to try their green salad ($3.50). Best I've had so far. Carrots are blanched, cukes marinated in delicious, & super tasty. Super friendly staff & authentic :)
Lunch boxes are an awesome deal! Especially if your tummy can't make up its mind. Fresh everything, great combos for $11. More than enough deliciousness. authentic . <3
Some of the best Japanese in the Lower Mainland. Try to the Aki Maruyaki, it's heavenly, and the House Roll is massive and fabulous. Lobster Sashimi is amazing... so fresh the claws were still moving!
Their kamameshi 's are unique in a Japanese restaurant and quite good here. Some sushi can be better at other places
Good value , don't know what's going on now, but half the chairs are missing from the place right now (03/2017)
Lobster Sashimi is awesome! And the lobster ufon that follows it is stellar.
Decent sushi here, loved their dynamite roll . However the service is really lacking. It's like they don't want to take my money.
Not so sure about this place. Miso was good. Gomaee watery, Toro wasn't fresh, california and BC roll fell apart , yam tempura was "not good". Staff were pretty friendly and the service was good.
You can't go wrong with Toro nigiri sushi !
The lobster sashimi is so sweet and so fresh it moves on the platter!
I love the crispy roll , it's very good.
It will be open on Dec. 24th, 25th and 26th this year (2012), but will be closed on New Year's Day o 2013.
One of my favorite sushi joints ever! Get the saba sashimi and amaebi (with the deep fried heads!). Was never a fan of tuna sashimi until I had some here. Friendly staff and head sushi chef :)
Sushi soba set is good.
One of the waitresses (the lady with the shorter hair) very friendly and helpful.
Toro nigiri sushi never disappoints!
Kamemashi is awesome, try it! A little on the bland side but very authentic .
Gross sushi—hard avocado , muted flavours. Poor service—slow, forgetful, and you’ll have to wave them down for everything.
Free miso soup for all eat-in lunch orders (ends at 2pm). :)
Don't miss the opportunity to dine here nigga! It's off the hook!
Chop scallop sushi is a must have
Saba Battera is pretty good.
Tamago sushi is the best in town
Service is not great. Spilt sake on friend and not willing to provide for another bottle.
Best Japanese restaurant in Burnaby! Everything is just delicious.
Love the Saba battera here.
Sushi is good but not great.
Highly recommend the maguro age and deep California roll. Great taste and texture ???????? - James Tanliao
Great prices, great food, great service! One of my favorite Japanese spots in Vancouver. - Mattie Reid
love the mall, very big and very vibrant. people are nice too!!!!! - leanne watkinson
Good bubble tea! Clean, quiet and nice service. Definitely a place to check out if you like desserts. - Jessica
They have a new manager so the place is way more clean and running a lot smoother. Always busy though. - Gina
