Location is beautiful, the beer is tasty and the food is good. It's also very popular when it's nice out. Be prepared to wait or have a back up plan for those gorgeous spring/fall days.

BEST black bean burger I've had in my life! I'm not a vegetarian but I swear it's better than most beef burgers . Dunkel and Saison on tap were also great. My friend liked his Full Nelson IPA .

This is where I take out-of-town guests for a relaxing evening getaway in an idyllic setting. Pizzas are excellent; all menu items are pub grub solid; beer is the star. Get the flight if you're new.

Great atmosphere, beer selection , and prices. Steal the Glass nights are genius.. for every (alcoholic ) drink you buy, you get a pretty awesome glass to take home as a keepsake memory!

Save room for dessert . The bread pudding (w/caramel sauce&pecans a la mode) is out of this world. Best we've ever had, and we've had a lot! Even the fanciest restaurants rarely have dessert this good.

If you have the time do a tasting flight. They really have a great selection of styles. Also the apple and bratwurst pizza is surprisingly tasty.

I thought the beer was very good and the food excellent. This is the best place to eat in the area. We lingered here for a while and enjoyed lunch . Great pizzas .

The Dark Hollow is bourbon barrel aged and is great. Definitely a one time only though. Their classic lager and the maibock is really good too.

Beer made fresh & made right, nice and hoppy, right in the heart of Afton. The Farm Cville carries their excellent brew for those who'd rather not leave Charlottesville.
