Brand new opening in Newbury, Fantastic food, good range of drinks, friendly staff . Just what you expect for Wetherspoons, plus the Hatchet has 2 beautiful rooms.

Stayed at the hotel here and it was modern and clean . Quite fun that the pub is just downstairs.

They've got a stupid rule that adults cannot be served alcohol if they have children in their party... Unless that is, they are eating... Nanny State or guise to get you to buy food?... Stupid Rule!..
