I'm not a big coleslaw person, but I CRAVE The Fish Keg's coleslaw & macaroni salad . Delicious! Also, the cajun catfish nuggets are thick pieces and perfectly seasoned.... Ah! and hush puppies Mmm!
Love the Fried Shrimp and Hush Puppies with Shrimp Cocktail Sauce . Very fresh fish , also love the smelts, too.
Shrimp n fries . Always hot& fresh. Homemade cocktail sauce is awesome!
Breaded not battered fish , this is high quality fish not treated as well as it can be. Breading is heavy and crunchy. Would prefer a lighter batter or Panko for this high quality product.
Fish chips all the way. You'll want at least 1/2 lb.
Decent food if you like deep fried. Their potato salad is very good and I am typically not a fan of mayo
They will fry up as little as a 1/4 lb. So if all you want is a taste, go for it.
Just a great place to eat I love sea food .
No belly clams ...but lake perch ( not mushy ocean perch ) is fabulous---and great,fresh, vinegary coleslaw as well .
The Lake Perch is quite delicious and the jumbo wings are to die for
