Excellent selection of curries and Japanese foods ! They also have very generous pots of soups at great value ! Gets busy because its good. Vegetable dumplings , katsu chicken and rice are all great!

A.

Easily the best udon soup in any E-prefixed postcode. Vegetable gyoza , veggies and egg with juicy, fat noodles although strict vegetarians beware, the stock is fish stock. Veg sushi box is a bargain.

Daren Williams

Small Japanese take out place with pre-prepared sushi , noodles and katsu curry - similar to Wasabi but better quality. There are a few bench stools for eating in.

Ninja Cyborg

Probably the best tasting takeaway katsu curry in london. But now it's 6.80 it's no longer the best value. Put it back to £6 please and we'll consider that a fair price .

Hannah Parvaz

Pumpkin Korrokes here are fantastic. I wish there was a vegetable katsu not a tofu one though and then I wouldn't be disappointed going here.

Nicolagypsicola

Moderate price giving the quality of the food. Come early and avoid the queue. Chicken Katsu Curry is a must

Alejandro Lopez

Really good chicken katsu curry . Gets quite busy during lunch time but the also do take away .

What a gem! Spicy squid udon rocked my world, sushi a class above your run-of-the-mill Itsu and Wasabi

Conor Ogle

Reasonable value . Consistent quality.

A.

Easily best lunchtime Japanese in E1, great value , good quality and great flavours. Udon is top.

If you sit inside when the venue is about to close, waitress might offer you a free sushi to take away !

Japanika is a new eaterie on Hanbury Street. Get their Katsu Curry for £4.80. It's very very filling, tastes amazing and is well better than the local Wagamama's.

Lawrence Kitson

The Katsu curry is dense amazing and satisfying. Weighs about the same as a newborn child.

Henrique Alves

Probably the best Chicken Katsu Curry I had in London.

Josh Wright

I've found my wasabi replacement! So good!

Ruth Watson

Katsu curry is perfect!

Margarida Aleixo

Quick lunch in a work day. Nice and easy

Lorenzo T.

Chicken Katsu curry ...Amazing taste & filling dish!

Fabio De Bernardi

The scallop rolls are simply unbelievable, my favourite sushi dish here.

Katja

Dragon roll looks nice, but has crunchy fish inside, so doesn't taste as good as you might expect.

Elena Alhimovich

Miso soup is good

Sam Hj

Try anything mushroom based. A revelation!

Jinder Sidhu

The Katsu is definitely nothing to write home about. Disappointed.

Paul Colman

Bacon sandwich is awful.
