Sandfish Sushi & Whiskey

Great food but expect more Japanese American fusion and less traditional sushi . Love the octopus and scallops ! The sashimi platter is more carpaccio (saucy) and the rolls were okay. Gorgeous interior.

Great food & cocktails . Skol cup was a winner. The “matcha cheesecake ” total misnomer, oreo crust cheese pudding . No matcha , not stiff enough to stand on its own. Get the crème brûlée instead.

Quality ingredients, only tried the cooked rolls though. Only complaint was it took a really long time between appetizers and sushi (40 minutes or so). Friendly waitress and nice vibe.

The fish was fresh, and all of the rolls were delicious. The drinks, whether with or without alcohol , are beautifully dressed .

Instagram worthy meal in the new outdoor dining area . Delicious food, awesome service. The dj was listless but his mixes were fun

Never disappoints! Very hard to get a reservation though. Favorite roll : Scandinavian, favorite desert : Matcha cheesecake .

Not a bad dish on the menu! Everything is quite flavorful. Chef is ranked #24 in world ranking

Octopus Carpaccio is a must here. Don’t forget their refreshing cocktails during the heat.

This place is soooo good. Highly recommend the hamachi Kama

Set reservations and was sat outside in a metal storage container remind you it's a 109 degrees. Inside there was about 5 empty tables. Food was defiantly not that great fish tasted 2 day old..

Had high hopes for tasty sushi and an interesting whiskey-centric cocktail menu but wasn't super impressed. Is that what I get for seeking raw fish in the desert ? ????
