Lots of history and things to see. Allow for plenty of time for the carriage ride. The first two filled up quite quickly and had to wait for a third, but it was definitly worth the wait.
Arrive early to get nice pics without so many tourists on them. Tours start at 09:30am. Visit the 'Gullah Theather' to hear Veronica, one of the greatest storytellers I've ever seen!
America's most photographed plantation and is also the oldest working farm . Enjoy the row of live oak trees as well as history that surrounds the plantation. Must see: Gullah Presentation and Gardens

This was undoubtedly one of our favorite stops. The Gullah presetation is a must see. Set aside the whole day because you'll need it to experience everything they have to offer here.
Gorgeous property, and we enjoyed the Gullah culture lesson, but we could not wrap our heads around why it was $26 per person! The house tour did not show much. Good for history lovers.

This is the WORST managed historical site in the South. From the entry, to the welcome center, to the gardens over grown with weeds, it is a shrine to disorder! Go to Middleton Place instead
