Fun atmosphere - all kinds of pirate/nautical kitsch. Large bar with two aquariums . Nice outdoor seating , too. Good prices. The Cuban pork is delicious.

Sunday brunch .... Awesome. The live music .... Superb. The crab legs were extremely yummy... All 5 plates of them! This place is a must!

Pulled pork tacos are tasty. Homemade pumpkin spice hot sauce was a surprise hit. Would order beans and rice without weird cheese sauce , but otherwise pleased with the food.

Enjoyed some great wings here today. My favorite bartender in all of Tampa was working today. Cute girl named Nicole. When at the Grotto be sure to see Nicole.

Skip the calamari...it's over cooked. Skip the jerk chicken sandwich ...I'm not even sure what that was. Stick to the cuban sandwich if you have to go here. The waitstaff have room for improvement.

Service sucks. Yuca is tasty but the banana guava ketchup is missing the bananas&guava. Had to ask for utensils for our salad . Why do I need to go to the bar to get h2o? Because our server was M.I.A.
