This hidden gem is a very delicate ecosystem and a wonderful spot to go bird watching , look for tadpoles or enjoy a walk. Join the local volunteers for a clean up of the park . It is very rewarding. Read more

Supposed to park at Jack Darling but parking there is tight at peak periods. Near Rattray is tempting but you may get ticketed. Fines are higher May-Sep ($100). Try parking on further streets

Compact nature area. Easy-to-see wetlands, good paths, boardwalks, forest trails , lots of shade, some stretches of sandy beach (with some rocks) & a view of Lake Ontario. Only downside: tight parking
