Never failed me especially with an empty stomach after a long day! Always get the clay pot rice with 臘腸, and my fav steamed egg . This time got the pan fried squid with veggies in garlic yummy too!
Consistently busy & crowded , all because the claypot rice is consistently good. Chinese sausage & liver sausage are great. Eel claypot rice is also excellent. Amazing local food. Grimy but great.
Finally got to try this. Did not disappoint, rice is fine and crispy and not too heavy.
I would take more photos of the other dishes but my hands wouldn't let go of the bowl and chopsticks. My 9pm dinner was so worth it; the food quality has always been excellent
Best claypot rice in Hong Kong! Get the preserved liver sausages claypot rice . Let the rice sit for a while and then enjoy the burnt crispy rice !
A very local spot . Try to bring someone who can speak Cantonese. The claypot rice is a must. Consider adding the fermented sausage and a vegetable dish .
The BEST claypot rice in HK if not the world. The one I would go for is the chinese sausage claypot rice . They also serve very good 貴妃雞.
Waiting time around 1 hour. Minimum charge HKD100 per head. The clay pot rice is good. The taste of the ingredient and rice is well blended
this place takes reservations . must order the clay pot rice with Chinese cured meats 😋
Hole in the wall rest that you need reservations for!! Well worth the trip and wait if you didn't get reservation . But I did ! Cheers
Yummy clay pot rice ! Also recommend to order the pepper pork bond hotpot . The soup base tastes so good!!
The claypot rice is good but the price is a bit high for the dishes. Best dish was the salt & pepper 九肚魚. Overall above average. Plenty of other similar places for cheaper. Tho Service was good.
Steamed squid with shrimp paste is exceptional, as are all of the bo zai fan (clay pot rice )
Very satisfying claypot rice and lamb hot pot during winter.
arguably a better alternative to those on temple street. although I am not entirely sure they have an English menu.
Blood sausage , fish , pork chop crispy rice ! Yummy!!
Great value and food, seatings a bit tight but staff here is super friendly .
The deep fried squid with spicy salt and the spare ribs in soya sauce in the claypot .
Didn't get the fuss, the food is decent but definitely overpriced for what it is ($80-100 for one claypot rice ), and the service is quite slow (20-25mins for food). Worth a visit, but very overhyped.
Rice pots are the way to go
I'd recommend getting the dish they are most known for: claypot rice !!
The ending is gem.. Crispy rice biscuit
This may be the best squid in the world!!
The clay pot rice so good!!!
Delicious clay pot rice !
Worth experiencing once as it's famous but food is a bit oily.
Claypot rice is very good! But it will take a long time to wait.
Yummy!! Come early to avoid crowd!
Its authentic !! Highly recommended :)
call in before hand and make a reservation
Very long queue at 6.30pm
This my SG friends, is life-changing Claypot Rice .
Claypot rice must wait for at least 45 mins b4 it's served. Nice taste but oily. Lady boss attitude not friendly . "Seung tong choy sum is awesome
Sometimes they might run out of bo zai fan altogether! went on a Friday at 9:30pm
Don’t come here! One order waiting for almost an hour.while other desk got it
And bow with an English menu!
I think they purposely made u wait for over an hour ... and that is mean ; (
u ve to wait the BO JAI RICE for an hour
you may consider placing orders when you are waiting for your seats. It took me 45 mins before I got a table. It took me another 45 mins for the bo jai rice I ordered. It was 9:45 pm when I sat down..
Seafood BBQ items. Frank Underwood would approve of the some no nonsense decor. Nice staff. Great food with distinct flavours - Patrick Kirby
The signature dishes include anything instant noodle related. Yes. Instant noodles. They do it right, and it is not easy to do it right. Their own version of the French Toast and milk tea are great. - David Siu
Super cool bar w old school ping pong-inspired interior. Great place to go for gin-based drink lovers! Definitely try the pomada!! - Elaine Shin
