Makoto Japanese Restaurant

Absolutely love the small Japanese restaurant in a small but busy neighbourhood :) my favorite is the Saba roll with the delicately placed mint leaf on each piece, the mint enhances the taste!

Saba roll (left) with oba leaf was delightfully refreshing. highly recommended.

Great authentic Japanese sushi , with a few modern rolls. Also has a good variety of hot food.

Left much to be desired. Taste of fish was flat; not really fresh at all--at least it wasn't chewy! Cuts of sashimi were too big; rolls were over-flavored with sauce (some like that but not me).
