Everything! Especially liked the soft hor fan, $10 meat platter, wanton soup and flower tea drink. Delicious food and value for money . Long queues at peak hours.
Without a doubt, their Soy Sauce Chicken . A Perfect Ten. Don't forget to ask for more of the awesome chilli that comes with the noodles . It's not available at the condiments counter.
Cheap & good! Soya sauce chicken (the main draw) is smooth, tender & juicy; pair it with rice or noodle .
New outlet of this Michelin 1-Star Chinatown Soya Sauce Chicken at 18 Tai Seng retail mall @ 18 Tai Seng St (Tai Seng MRT). No queue after peak lunch hour, but seats very closed to each other & noisy .
Food review: Chicken meat tender and addictive, Char Siew Meat fatty but rather sweet, Siew Yoke skin too hard. Rice and Noodle so-so but the delicious sauce made up for it; Hor Fun not smooth.
Do not order drumstick rice if you do not like to see watery blood in your chicken . The 油鸡饭 is $5.50 as I was forced to choose the parts of the meat (no option to skip) when I order from the machine.
Ribs are really good with a touch of spiciness .
Frankly there are better value soy chicken noodles around. The hype rides upon the Michelin star awarded to the Chinatown outlet, but the amount of chicken is not great and has broken bones.
Soya sauce chicken remains the star here.
Came at 2pm Sunday. Order queue is short . Waiting time for pick-up 30mins
Chicken is alright 😊
Good and cheap food
Queue is short but waiting time is long... They certainly can be more efficient
