I love to get the chicken kebabs (first item on the main part of the menu) but the rest of my family loves to get the lamb ones (quabili palow - I think that's how it's spelled.)
I ordered the Kadu Palow and for appetizer the Aushack Dumplings . For desert had the firnee pudding with cardamom . Was all fantastic!
Looks like a hole-in-the-wall from the street but the food is delicious, authentic , and chock-full of traditional afghan flavors. they have lunch deals , too.
The kadu is still my favorite. Be sure to add some of the hot sauce on top.
The Aushak and Kadu are fantastic! Well worth the visit.
Aushak and Mushroom Palow are great! Firnee home-made pudding w almond cardamon pistachios is quite good
