Korean food enthusiasts know and love this no-frills Lincoln Square restaurant , where there’s usually a line waiting to get in. For the newcomers, order the house specialty , chadol-gui. Read more
For BBQ , get option 1 (non marinated beef ), it's delicious. The bulgogi is subpar, so is the seafood pancake . Remember the banchan is unlimited so ask for seconds!
After I came back to Canada, I still think I should have taken picture and post here what we were given-such a low junk meat. It was our 2nd visit after 6 yrs. They perfectly ruined our lovely memory.
Yummy Korean food and BBQ ! love the soondubu soup and beef dumplings w/ rice cake soup . Good bulgogi and Korean short ribs . Nice selection of complimentary sides too. Beware: you will leave stinky!!!!
The Galbi was delish and the Jap Chae is always a favorite! Get there early though, we were waiting for at least an hour because it was so busy.
BYOB . you wont get anything to drink.. And if you want the fried rice ,, be sure to order the #3 or #6 because, despite what the menu says, that's the only way you get it. Bummed.
Great authentic Korean food and reasonably priced. But always so busy leading to terrible service and the servers always look so overworked
Authentic Korean BBQ-I love the Octopus in spicy sauce . Lines usually long outside but super worth it.
Probably the best Korean BBQ in Chicagoland. Chadolbaegi is my favorite part. Banchan is very good. Skip the jigaes , which are bland.
The intoxicating aromas of soy sauce , sugar, rice vinegar and garlic tell you this place is good before you walk in the door. Read more
Chadolbaegi (sp?) is absolutely amazing. Unmarinated but still great. Best part: staff turns leftovers into kimchi fried rice !
Outrageous quantities of food for reasonable prices if you're willing to wait for it. Remember to BYOB .
Amazing Korean BBQ ! Usually long line waiting outside so you get plenty of time absorb the great smell. Make sure you get kimchi fried rice . Soooooo good....
This place rocks. Very authentic feeling and nice atmosphere. Classy Korean and delicious. Byob ftw.
Probably the best priced Korean BBQ in Chicago. Bulgogi is awesome!
Delicious! But if you don't know how to eat it. Ask. As they don't help. Maybe not even if you ask.
Don't expect good service ...BUT expect rippin BBQ and soup ! Great food. Good price. BYOB !
I'll start with saying that the food here is delicious. I'll end with saying that we had the worst service that I've ever had.
Authentic Korean food . I really enjoyed it.
Amazing Korean restaurant . Go early because there are long lines
Delicious kbbq. Absolutely a great value for money .
The food and presentation is great! The service, not so much. They were waaaay to busy, poorly staffed and it's super small. You have to hang your own coat too. No service for 30 min.
Be prepared for a wait if you arrive during dinner hours (6pm-8pm), but it's worth it!
very authentic korean. love chadolbaegi , soondubu , galbi , sullungtang, bibimbap , yukgaejang Read more
Awesome Korean food . Just don't come too hungry. Always a long wait
Number 5 on the sharing menu is where it's at!
Surly waitresses , but good prices for Korean BBQ .
Bulgogi can be too sweet at this place... Just beware if you hate eating sweet stuff.
Delicious bulgogi and kalbi !
Good food, can't say the same about the service, not sure if it was a language or attitude issue, but the staff was definitely much more attentive with Korean-speaking customers
Love, love, LOVE the food!!! Service however, not so much #rude
Korean BBQ and seafood pancake
Terrible service and horrible food. We were served with the lowest grade of chadolbaeki while other table were being served as expected. We felt like we were being discriminated by attitude and food.
Get the chadolbagi - at the end they cook the rice and leftovers all together on the grill. Delicious!
Terrible service, but the Korean cuisine is so good that it doesn't even matter. Been here so many times that the servers stern charm has grown on us.
Get the Chadol-Gui. So good.
Doenjang jigae
be prepared to wait a while for a table. service is also VERY slow and spotty.
No soap in the washroom
Just like Seoul!
Closed April 5-7 for renovation. BYOB . Only octopus BBQ ones spicy .
Try the Chadol-Gui
Try the Chadol-Gui
This place looks so dirty from the outside, and I'd you walk by the kitchen when the door is open, you would die. I wish they would clean it up bc I'm sure the food is delicious.
Worst service eve. Waitresses , No English and rude
Racist Opportunist. Terrible Service. Never Ever Again.
BAD SERVICE
Get the daktigem and soju cocktail; try the watermelon or strawberry flavor to start. - Rain Ire
Love the charcoal grill Kalbi and the pork belly....yum! - Vithida Sueblinvong
As a change of pace from BBQ and apps, the bibimbap is also incredible. - Bobby Kennedy
Great samples... And great suggestions for flavor mixes and gravel! - Tracey Ward
Still a New York cherry fan, but discovered the strawberry was also delicious. - bella dichoso
