McGee's Pub

I believe they must be tired of us Himym fans . You don't feel much vibe from the staff . Their beer brand "McGee's" is quite nice actually.

Um. I'm pretty sure I just walked onto the set of how I met your mother. Wtf. Great serendipitous find. If you're a fan of the show you should check it out. It's like you're AT maclarrens.

Cozy up by the fireplace with a $13 pitcher and watch multiple games . Hungry? Chicken pot pie does not disappoint. Super flaky and creamy deliciousness.

Is a must see place for those who are HIMYM fans . The local beer is simplest, but good. And the McLarens Burger are OK. Price fair . But if your not a huge fun of the series you may find better places.

McGee’s, simply put, is the best of the Midtown Irish pubs . It feels like less of a sh*tshow than the rest, and is comfortably spread out over a few floors.

I am a huge HIMYM fan and loved this place! They had reasonable drinks inspired by the show an they were super strong. The drinks are all reasonably priced and every one is very friendly !!

We returned to McGee's and went twice in one weekend! Bartenders are awesome. Drinks are strong and the burger sliders are yummy! I can't wait to return!

Great food, good music , cold beer and the perfect company...the recipe of a great atmosphere!! What else do you need? McGee's is always a great choice.

Good food! Plenty of seating! Wish it was more HIMYM-y but overall good!

Mac and cheese was gooey and delicious ideal in front of the fireplace , just needed the home alone glass of milk for it to be complete!

Portions weren't as large as I would've liked, but I had the bangers and mash and it was delicious. Good well drinks too

Go upstairs to the 2nd floor. Bartender Michelle is the best! Go Weds for "YB Sober Weds" food is great, try the curry cheese fries !

Shepherds pie is okay.. I LOVE SP. this is just okay. Don't hate me... It's just OK. Service is great, snakebite is great, ambiance is perfect. Will be back for sure.

So I saw on the internet that it was opened till 4am came at 23:30 ordered some food and at 00:00 four people tried to take our unfinished meal away. Not cool. Relax people .

Great place for How I Met Your Mother fans! McLauren's was modeled after McGee's! Also, $5 rail drinks! Can't beat it.

Nice pub but if you're going there because of HIMYM, don't think it looks like McLaren 's cause it doesn't. They do however have a HIMYM inspired menu

Really fun bar with a lively scene but not too crowded

The upstairs bar is fun, we didn't stay long for dinner though. I think our waitress Sarah was trying to scare us away from her table.

I've been drinking here for more than 15 years and the service is never less than excellent. :-)

The staff is really unfriendly. Obviously, it is a popular place because of HIMYM and they know it. So they act like "yeah we don't need you, we'll always have customers"

The hummus platter was yummy and the staff amazing.

HIMYM and excellent bar food--chicken fingers, nachos , and fries ! Pasta leaves something to be desired but hey, it's a pub .

Just come, have a drink and leave. A must if you like HIMYM. But not a memorable place. That's my opinion

We could say we knew this place before it was "the how I met our mother bar ." To us, it will always be our favorite place around the corner from the office .
