池袋の「ふくろう」の像と言えばJR池袋駅北改札付近の東側にある「いけふくろう」であり待ち合わせの定番ですが、中池袋公園も北改札出て東側にありながら一部の人にはメジャーな待ち合わせ場所となっている「ふくろう像」があることから、池袋初心者は待ち合わせ場所がどこなのかしっかり確認したほうがいいと思う。
アニメイト本店が近くになってから、ますますアニメグッズのトレード会場として有名になった。コスプレイヤーの写真 撮影も行われている。
アニメイト、アニメ関連のショップが傍にあるため、いろんな人がかなりいます。
街の中にぽっかりと憩いの場が！映画 を観たり、ラーメン 食べたり^ ^
