La Union Restaurant

All I can say is DELICIOUS! I'm so glad to have listened to friends talk about this place and finally tried it. Burrito , carne asada ... I want more. Go! Try it! Very friendly staff . Be back soon!

First of all, this is a Salvadorian restaurant , not Mexican. And it's the best salvadorian (not made by your family) restaurant in dc. Try "El tipico " and the salvadorian enchiladas <3

I often come here with my family for dinner and always end up getting the chicken tostada . All the waiters are nice, and there is a very lively environment, as well as great value for the food!

Got the Don Pepe Platter which has amazing sauce and flavor. Also got the el tipico which was pretty good but i didn't love the plantains that came with it - unsweetened and overcooked it seemed.

We've been coming here for 10 years. The whole menu is great- we usually opt for the Fajitas or Don Pepe platter new. Kid friendly and attentive staff .

Authentic food, and excellent service! Steak tacos with rice & beans is fantastically tasty.

Best El Tipico in town . Papusas are okay, refried beans are a favorite.

Pupusas are amazing. Nachos are amazing. Staff is wonderful. You'll want to come back again and again.

This place left a lot to be desired...El Paso is the best place for pupusas - hands down
