Phoenix Park is an urban park in Dublin, Ireland, lying 2–4 km west of the city centre, north of the River Liffey. Its 11 km perimeter wall encloses 707 hectares, one of the largest walled city parks in Europe.

One of the largest recreational parks in Europe . So worth a visit.. Beautiful walks, Flowered gardens , Trees in abundance, Herds of Deer , Dublin Zoo , Áras an Uachtaráin and so much more....
Huge park with several attractions worth seeing including Dublin Zoo , Farmleigh house. Herd of deer roams the park and can usually be found near the Papal Cross .
To quickly get around, rent a bike from Phoenix Park bikes near the entrance! just €5 an hour or €10 for the day (tandem and kids bikes available too!) Go in the morning to spot the deer!
The biggest enclosed park in Europe ! There's plenty to do in here, from a Sunday walk around the gardens to the zoo . There are a few monuments like the Wellington obelisk, the papal cross , etc...
It's great for a walk or a picnic or a cycle . You can rent bikes beside the Conyngham st entrance. The Zoo is also in the park as well as the presidents residence.

make sure to rent a bicycle at the opening of the park for the best, and quickest way to see the majority of the grounds. So cool to see deer grazing on the 15 acre part of the park .
Amazing place! If you are trying to find the deers, don't forget to look at the fields around the big cross (the one built after the visit of the pope). The "Tea Rooms " is also an amazing place.

Great place for a cycle in the park . But the visitors centre cafe does get extremely busy on the weekends. So best to bring your own food.
