It is tad bit expensive compared to other Indian restaurants that generally host lunch buffets for a reason . Try their light eats and a dessert / heavy drink. Or go for a full meal option.
Entered expecting buffet at afternoon but left belching and happy after a hearty South-Indian thali at $10. Good quality food and reasonable price, best value for your money.
Authentic south Indian Madrasi style food. Pretty costly but worth once in a while. I love the coffee their. They need to stop acting as weirdos and restric seating when asked to accommodate freely.
Do not waste your money here, many other affordable and flavorful venues are present in the the Dallas market including the Udipi Cafe in Richardson and best of all: Sarada's Kitchen. NY location =A+
Try their Dosa , it is one of the best ones I have had in Dallas area. I was disappointed with the ambiance of the restaurant , it is a Indian restaurant with no Indian art .
If anyone who has lived in the Middle East and dined at their local branches, know that you'll be in good hands when you dine here.
Very authentic South Indian food . My fav is their "Thali ". Finish your meal with masala tea or coffee .
The combos are nice. You get less quantity for higher cost. The coffee was good and kind of felt like the ones you get in India. The ambiance is exactly like any normal restaurant in Chennai .
One the best places for veg Indian food . But my favorite is still Taj Chaat in Irving.
Gets very crowded on weekends. There is no buffet but the South Indian menu options are fabulous!!!
Everything you try is gonna be good here, quick service
Good, spicy masala dosa . Really crowded seating arrangement. I'd rather go to Chennai Cafe or Madras Pavilion.
Excellent Vegetarian cuisine !
Excellent Vegetarian Cuisine ! #
Service seems to have improved! For dessert get the badaam halwa - heavenly!
Skip the standard dosas and get a rava dosa . So much more flavor!
Try the pongal. Literally melts in your mouth. Satisfaction and fulfillment guaranteed :)
Best madras filter coffee ever in town .. Nostalgic :)
The food quality is getting better as compared to a month ago. I recommend Kotthu Parotta
The food here has a lot of soda , eat moderately to avoid having a bad stomach!
Mixed vegetable parotta is great here..
Make sure to have TUMS handy to deal with heart burn..
Good place for pure vegetarians
I got a 5% discount on my take out order for paying in cash!
Food is okay but service is seriously lacking and very poor. I think this should have either been a self-service type of fast food establishment or had much better trained staff .
Madras coffee
Good meals, not very cheap
Button idly with ghee !
Idli vadai koffee
Taste in this place is nowhere near the Chennai branches.
Filter coffee is not worth the expensive $3.99. Please save your money
very disappointed. A+ customer service, as awful as in Chennai locations. Sambar = B, Aviyal = A/A+, Adai = F, raw in the middle and tasteless. Vadai Sambar = C, was tasteless. The manager argued.
Masala dosa
Mysore Bonda Sucks here..
Don't eat here
Worst service!
Good menu with decent prices. Loved the tawa pulao and mango milkshake - Shreyas Anand
Oh yes, food is more spicy than Hyderabadi biryani. - Nitin Samireddy
This place is great for someone who want to try South Indian chettinad cuisine. The food is spicy (black pepper based) and tangy. So very different from North Indian cuisine items like Tikka masala - Krishna Bell
These are pretty close to the taste we are used to back home. Lot of flavors to choose. My personal fav, cassata and butter scotch. My kids love the pan masala. - Krishna T
This grocery store will surely make u feel u r in India. Reasonably priced& best part is 2 Indian restaurants r next door - Sri Vani
Come before 9am on the weekend to beat the crowd. - Kim Spight
