It is easy to have a great time here, drunk on sake and value-for-money sashimi sets . But first, you must be able to push open those huge-ass doors.
Stunning, melt in your mouth aburi salmon . The chirashi don was good value and fresh, but marred by the presence of veins in the flesh. Oysters were sweet and plump.
excellent chirashi don w/ thickly cut fresh sashimi . with such generous servings at $25, it was great value for money ! they could do with better air conditioning tho
The Chirashi don is delicious! The sashimi is thick but also tender. A rare chirashi don that has more fish than rice !
Nice chirashi don; thick cuts of fresh sashimi on top of the sticky rice . #yummy
Although service was rather slow & it took half an hour for my Chirashi Don order to b served, I would say it's really worth e wait. Thick chunks of fresh sashimi on top of the sticky rice ~ Slurp ~
U either love or hate it. I managed to find a sweet spot - no expectations. Sashimi cuts r thick. Servers are forgetful. But if u need a place on Sat & u have no reservations ? This place is a saviour
Chirashi don. Really thick sashimi slices, great value .
go for the $68 special chirashi don and the grilled oyster if it's available. very sedap
Yes the chirashi don. I haven't had anything else there tbh
The spicy salmon cream was pretty darn good!! Weird that they don't do refills for the hot green tea ... ????
Chirashi was pretty good. Service was however lacking. Slow service. Yakitori was overcooked, dry and very small portions. Give the yakitori a miss. The other branch, Chikuwa Tei is better.
Ordered the Katsudon took a long time to come out and looked as if I tried to make it myself. Pork chop was chewy and eggs not substantial enough covering it. Should probably stick to the chirashi don
We ordered sashimi for 2 pax. Was really disappointing. The sashimi cut was not smooth, edges were rough, overly thick. The slices were too huge. Not cold enough too. We had problem finishing it
Pretty good deal of chirashi don for $25. Crowded on weekdays but shld be ok for small walk-ins.
Death by chirashi !
Insufficient seaweed ? Or just amateurs? Rice served with sashimi set was horrible. Dry & hard. Either overnight and it probably was just normal rice .
Avoid this place.
Reasonably priced and good sashimi. If you like century egg pls do try the tofu w century egg too! - C
I like their chicken namban and wafu burgers. Pocket friendly and good food. Good for a weekday dinner. - Meng Low
Love this restaurant. Mekajiki the swordfish sashimi is fantastic! - Jules Tan
