This is a few blocks outside of Santa Monica, but close enough to include on a Santa Monica list. I prefer this Trader Joe's to the one actually in Santa Monica because it's less crowded .

Too many food specialties here that I love! And some of the best inexpensive wines - including Organic!

Their buffalo jerky is amazing. The texture is perfect and the flavor starts out sweet, then ends with a spicy kick .

Friendly staff . Park all the way on the other side of the parking lot ... It's less of a mess and has open spots

the par baked bread and seasonal veggies are fresh and the best of any grocery store in town !

You cant beat their prices on bananas !! Not even at a chinese supermarket !!! Also their frozen mac and cheese is one of the beeest! Even compared to non frozen varieties!!

In addition to a free parking lot, there is plenty of street parking !

For a quick lunch at work try the Mushroom Tortellini with asparagus or the Tandoori Style Butter Chicken . Both in the fridge section, and both cook in 3 minutes.
