One of the best diners in the world. Everytime we come to ADK, we make it a point to stop here! Bread , pies , and muffins are all homemade . Gluten free baked good are beyond delicious as well .
Great breakfast (try the pancakes !), lunches & pies , all made fresh daily and definitely the best (also house made) English muffins ever!
Reuben was great, roasted pepper bisque was creamy but bland. Pastries and pies , Oh my! And oatmeal chocolate chips . Great stop on the way south after a stay in the ADK. A REAL DINER .
Cheap as chips and very good. Great option for breakfast or lunch if you’re in the area.
Breakfast is good and cheap . Everytjing is well made and you csn get bread and can goids to go.
If here for breakfast I highly recommend the custom omelettes with French Toast
Great home-cooked meal! Prices are reasonable and service is great!
Amazing selection of gluten-free bakery items! (And you can buy some to take home, too!) Read more
Looks cute en route back from adirondacks
The abundance of smiling faces on the menu does little to compensate for the hostile service. The area doesn't offer many alternatives, but I'd recommend driving a few more miles.
Where do I begin other than to advise you to not bother! Stopped with a friend and our two boys aged 8 and 7 - service was abysmal and the food barely edible. Disappointed is being nice.
Awful service, mediocre food. Prices too high for quality of food/service. Will not return unless feeling particularly masochistic.
Love the ambiance and friendly staff. Food was good!! Try the Hungarian mushroom soup. Good scallops (photo) - Christine D
Grab a cup of the Speeder & Earl's Coffee - a great way to start the day. - Sarah Wilson
Got as good as Sub Alpine Coffee, which previously occupied this space, but it’s the best in the area. Espressos are on the bitter side. - Yoeun Pen
A great place to stop in an familiarize yourself with the area if you are visiting the Adirondacks for the first time. Helpful and knowledgeable staff! - Whitney Stamey
