If u wanna save up on time, take Minolo Shipping Lines Golden Vulture, very fast. When you are not comfy with the waves, travel in the morning. The 5PM boat ride is bumpy but manageable.

I travel going to Mindoro everyweek and its amazing they do mot a standard price for the vehicle charges... Interesting!

There’s a van terminal bound for Pala-pala, Dasmariñas. You have to alight early for it though, or you’ll end up hiring an entire van (P2,880 as of Nov 2019) or waiting for the next ferry to arrive.

Ticket outlet going to abra de ilog closes 15mins before departure. Roro leaves every 4 hours. Save your previous ticket and become a "byahero" to have a discount . ;)

Boat ride can be a bit rough especially after noon-time so make sure to bring meds for sea sickness AND cold water AND fan!

All a little chaotic. Just be assertive and carry your own stuff and buy your own ticket. Don't take the touts word on ANYTHING! Plenty of food and drink options and an ATM just outside the terminal.

Board early to get seats especially if you are travelling to Puerto Galera .

Once u get to galera, look for your boat liner's representative to confirm ur ticket. Dont let anyone else do that. One facilitator placed 12:30nn instead of 12nn, it delayed us 3hrs.

FYI, there are helpful folks to help you out with tix. & there's an XRay machine upon entrance. Come early to avoid lines . Altho, the boat doesnt really leave on time..

I have two very big luggage. I can not bring it to the boat. Porters can handle it just 50 peso.

Better to get roundtrip tickets to avoid longlines ans hassle when going back to the port . :)

Don't be fooled. There is drinking water in Puerto Galera . No need to buy gallons of water from anyone at the port . Tsk tsk.

Bring your tumbler! There's hot and cold water refilling inside the Terminal waiting Area.

roro vessels usually do not leave on time. Montenegro shipping lines have free wifi onboard (near the canteen). General port services to passengers are subpar compared to services @Port of Calapan

There's a 7 eleven inside ro-ro terminal. No red ribbon though. Red Ribbon's in fast craft terminal. An they got an ATM there.

Watch your belongings while you're waiting at the passenger terminals. Keep an eye out for especially shifty-looking characters.

Whatever it takes, do NOT take FSL (Father and Son Lines ) to Puerto Galera . They never stick to their schedule, and their boats are around 15% slower than those of MSL (Minolo Shipping Lines ).

Aside from your transportation fee prepare 30 pesos for terminal fee plus more patience and be vocal if there's prob on your trip

Motorcycle to Caticlan 3k plus and rider not free with 2Go. Go to Calapan for 600 with any other shipping company. I'd rather swim that give one peso to 2Go shipping. Foreigners beware, price gouging.

If DOTC can enhance our ports , tourism in the Philippines will be totally different 😂

Galerian SL has few passengers pretty good for a little privacy however their adherence to the schedule, wow way too off! Good thing we left early. Not recommended if you have appt or catching a sched

Dont forget to bring food with you when you travel. The food outside the terminal is not really plus it cost a bit. Php50.00 for 1 rice (equicalent of half on normal restos) with a small longganisa.

U can sleep ur heart out,cover ur bed with the linen if ur in tourist AC deck

Avoid the hassle. Never transact with fixers. Go directly to the ticketing booths . For quality service, go for Minolo Shipping Lines .

Baleno=3 hours; supercat= 45 minutes. Take your pick. Last trip of supercat, 5pm.

Important tip. Just buy 1 way tix, u can always get a return trip at the port . Had to pay extra cuz we got left behind my FSL

Businesses operating at port screw foreigners. I bought some water and an energy drink and they charged me 85 pesos. Heard woman laugh and say only 45 for filipino in Tagalog to her coworker. BS.

Most ro-ro vessel do not leave on time. Give youtself an allowance of a minimum of 30 minutes. It'll save you from frustration.

After buying tix, you need to by an environmental fee of P50 and Terminal Fee of P30
