Milwaukee County Zoo

Really an exceptional zoo and the type that you'd expect in a larger city . Large with all the types of exhibits and animals that you'd hope for. Can compete with any zoo out there! 🦒

Love to see the elephants and penguins. Good place to get some exercise... good walk. Don't forget to ride the train before you leave!

Take a ride on the scale replica steam engine train . It's a fun way to see the zoo . Make sure to wave to the bystanders!

Sea lion show was awesome and affordable ! Shark and Sting Rays was also great! Best zoo in the midwest!! Maybe the world :D

Watch for Feb/March event at zoo for a fun brisk 5k run/walk and family-friendly Zumba supporting work of @Independence1st helping ppl w/disabilities!

Don't be afraid to visit the zoo in the winter...{preferably nonwindy} day. You'll have the zoo practically to yourself. It's so pretty when it's snowy & the indoor buildings are heated. Score!

You have to check out the baby jaguars & the fennec fox kits! Too adorable for words. The indoor exhibits can be pretty crowded - especially on free days. But it's worth it not to have to pay!

Best zoo in the state . Membership is the way to go if you live anywhere close.

Getting a membership here is one of the best decisions we've made since moving to Milwaukee a year ago. It practically pays for itself. Excellent, beautiful zoo !

great zoo but unless you have kids who want to ride a train take the tram tour instead. Its an awesome guided tour . The train just goes around the perimeter of the zoo . Not worth the $2.

The animal exhibits are the best in the world.

Very well kept zoo , great for a family fun day, there are areas for picnics located throughout the grounds.

Zoo a la Carte: have beer next to bears , glug wine by giraffes, cheesecake near the cheetahs!

The bonobos are the best, but don't bang on your chest by the glass they will attack!!!

Love it here!!! Watched the tigers grow up....than the lions..and now the jaguars!!! Rumor has it ...in the future hyena babies!!! :)

A great place to visit but make sure you are ready to pay - without advance tickets adults were $13.25, kids $10.25 and I think it was $11 to park (we had free tickets for an event )

First time here, had a great time. Lots to do and see.

Get the family zoo pass . It's $115 with parking . It will save you a bunch of money if you come here often!!

I have always loved the train ! I wish they still had the zoomobile!

It was nice being @ the Zoo w/ my niece-Ropes Course, she rode a camel, and fed/petted baby Stingrays .
