My wife & I love it here. The menu, and food itself, is high quality but lacks the pretentious cost. One of the best places to eat in North Raleigh.
Try the Chicken-Fried Chicken summer style. I've never had fried chicken so tender, juicy & tasty! Don't tell my Mom I said that!!! You won't be disappointed!!!
Black Eyed Pea Salad and Smoked Pork Shoulder was DELICIOUS, still thinking about how much flavor the generous portion of pork had!!
Everything is good here that I've tried but some of my favorites are the mac & cheese , the meatloaf , and the dirty Shirley drink.
They actually have a couple of vegan friendly dishes... the beet-burger for one. Some of their vegetarian dishes can be adapted to vegan .
Perfect chicken fried chicken , served over great mashed potatoes !
The Mahi Mahi fish tacos were tasty but the pieces of fish were a bit too large for the smaller corn tortillas my preference. More of a note than complaint.
Best Mahi Mahi sandwich I've ever had! The chairs are a bit small......Lol...but awesome place!
Great ambiance. Brunch was hit or miss. Maybe we got to the buffet too late.
