Looks like it's in an 80s office building because it is. Service is excellent, sushi is great. They have several harder to find Japanese beers too.
Outstanding sushi with attentive chefs and fantastic fresh specials. At the sushi bar you get an oshibori, can order directly from the chef , and get personal service. VERY HIGHLY recommended!
This is one of the best places I have ever been for sushi . From the service to the incredible food, the environment is a one of a kind experience. Also, they have the best spicy tuna I have ever had.
I love this little place. The servers are always very friendly and attentive and the sushi is delicious. Nice atmosphere and the view of the lake is beautiful. Make reservations on Saturdays.ijs
After looking on foursquare and asking the extremely helpful and kind waitress , I decided on the Sono 12 and the Bridal Veil rolls and they were the best rolls I have ever had in my entire life.
The salmon sushi is a must. We literally got 10 orders. Fatty bluefin tuna was also delish. Veg roll is surprisingly good too. They had oysters when we went that was amazing, but pretty expensive .
They are on an expensive side somewhat, but their food is the best. All of their sushi and rolls come in very fresh and i also love their udon !
Wonderful sushi which is fresh and beautiful arrangements on serving plate. Service is quick. Get there early for dinner because it can get crowded .
The hostess made it her job to remember my name, and I've noticed as customers walk in, she knows their names as well . If I was local I'd be a regular like the rest of these folks. Good food too :-)
Fresh specials are fantastic and worth getting. Trust the chef ! He will give you nothing that is not good, if he recognizes that you know and appreciate sushi !
Great sushi and great service despite how busy they are. I had the Sono 12, royal crab and bridal veil. All are fresh and amazing. Would definitely come back again.
It's a bit expensive , but the higher end sushi rolls they have are worth it. The tuna is very high quality and the veggies are fresh.
I keep looking for the best sushi in Bmore but the best option is in my backyard . This place! If they have raw oysters , jump on that!
Delicious sushi beautifully presented. Aji is a house specialty . Get it as soup or fried.
Right by the lake so perfect for a date. I personally think it's a bit overpriced just a tad bit. I would rather hit Katanas
Spider roll is the best I've had in MD. Can't go wrong with their soft shell crab .

Ask them for fresh of the day. It's good!
Try tempura ice cream for dessert ! It's a must :) my husband and I love this place so much!
When diners aren’t gazing out at Lake Kittamaqundi, they’re studying the sushi bar , where chef/owner King Lin and his team of cooks assemble the area’s most inventive rolls.
Must have's: Dragon Roll , Bridal Veil Roll , Scallop Roll (the scallops are NOT raw, but this roll is my newest favorite!) Snapper sushi is fantastic, salmon , usually HATE uni, but so sweet here. Yum!!
Royal crab roll is my favorite
Great service and good sushi . Not the most unique rolls , but decent selection.
"King", the proprietor and Chief Sushi Chef , is a true artist and perfectionist of his craft.
As with the rest of the lakefront restaurants , this one could use an upgrade but sushi still good.
the royal crab roll is one of the most unique rolls i've had--try it if you want to be adventurous!
Try the aji and let them deep fry the bones for you. So yummy!
The hurricane eye roll is excellent
Amy is the Hostess With The Mostest! Tell her Bill & Nikki sent you. :)
Seafood roll is amazing! And get the tempura ice cream , so tasty!!
Snapper sushi , Kamamoto oysters on the half-shell, and Bridal Veil roll were delicious!

The freshest seafood I've tasted in a sushi joint . -Timothy Dean, Top Chef
Aji special is where it's at!
Hours say 5-11 on Sundays, however they are actually closed on Sundays.
Royal Crab Roll is my absolute favorite! Best sushi hands down.

The yasai sushi is awesome
Sono 12 Roll is decadent and delicious.
Best. Sushi . Ever.
Awesome jellyfish salad .
Don't ever go around 3pm...the kitchen closes and you get rushed out. Sushi was decent.
Bridal Veil : my fave.
