This 9RMB noodle join is a Shanghai icon, come for the "ma jiang mian" Sesame Noodles . It's run down but really feels like a symbol of yesteryear (it even made it to the Louis Vuitton Travel Guide).
Sesame noodles are really good. My favourite place in Shanghai. Very cheap , not clean , crowded place, but noodles are amazing.!
Definitely try 麻酱面 (noodles with sesame sauce )! It's only 9¥ and super tasty. But a place is a bit crappy.
