If going in groups of 3+, venture from the typical Pho and splurge on the family dinners . Totally worth it and tasty as well !
Good veg options ! If you want vegetarian pho specify that you want veggie broth , which is not on their regular menu. Good portions, my favorite is their Lemongrass tofu with rice vermicelli #253(?)
Cheap and tasty - a go to spot. It's usually pretty busy during peak hours, but moves quickly. $7 cocktails will knock you on your @rse.
By far, the best Pho restaurant in Philly! Service is fast, professional, and friendly . Highly recommended. I eat here at LEAST once every two weeks.
This large, pleasantly appointed space serves some very good renditions of traditional Vietnamese cuisine to the crowds that flock to Washington Avenue's growing Asian shopping zone. Read more
#253 lemongrass tofu and vermicelli is amazing. So are the vegetarian summer rolls with peanut sauce !
A huge menu that coveres just about every Vietnamese specialty you can imagine, from pho and broken rice to soft shell crabs in black bean sauce , fish stew and country-style beef cubes . Read more
2 orders of family style for four - you can try one of each dish: summer roll/spring roll, sour fish soup/sour shrimp soup , lotus salad/papaya salad . The cubed beef is sooo good!
Everything is good here!
We really enjoyed Nam Phuong. The food was fresh, served hot, in plentiful portions by very pleasant and competent wait staff . Highly recommend.
Pho is great and all but get the Bun Bo Hue soup ... Amazing. PS- If you're not feel adventurous, tell them to hold the pork hocks .
Advisory some dishes come with the herb "diep-CA" called "fish mint " in English which smells very strongly of, well , fish and may not be appealing to American palate
Really generous portion sizes, grilled shrimp vermicelli was tasty
Very good noodles and meatballs !!
Grilled pork summer rolls and the stuffed grape leaves (wrap them yourself) and an iced coffee with milk = nom noms
The pho deluxe is sooo good. Lots of noodles and meat!
Great fried rolls , summer rolls and lemon grass chicken entree . Enjoy!
Try the Hü Tiēu Xào Kiêu Thái - @fipolarrea (via @Foodspotting)
Super fast . Love the Vietnamese crepe and pork vermicelli wraps . Oh and the iced coffee !!
Haven’t had a bad meal here.
Always busy, but never overcrowded & worth it. Parking is a bit of a challenge, though.
Tried the Thai food item in the menu, nooo! Let's go back to the Viet noodles
The phở is delicious!!!
Try the 4 person or 6 person family style meal! Well worth it for 50 or 70 respectively.
great pho . good prices
Solid broken rice . Food comes out really quickly.
Not bad, having tried Pho at restaurants in OC's Little Saigon.
Watch what the local vietnamese eat and get away from the pho and bun (as tasty as they are)!
Their bo luc lac is delish
Try the pork stew in claypot
Authentic affordable Vietnamese food in South Philly. You can get a variety of dishes from bun (vermicelli noodles ) to fish clay pots .
Build your own spring rolls !
Pork claypot & bo luc lac ! Add an egg to any rice dish, mmm
Lotus root salad and #162, meat on a side.
The pad thai is to die for!
The rolls... Pho ... Very authentic !
Try the appetizer called ba vi if you have a larger party.
Bun Bo hue - warms you up on cold nights...
If you want to really impress your server, ask for mam nem, a pungent and delectable sauce not offered on the menu.
Ban hoi ba vi
Their Pork Meatballs are SO GOOD
Their Bun Dac biet is alright. Just too much chicken ... Bun is better with chargrilled pork or beef
Lovely mai tai
Try the appetizer called ba vi
Meat cubes!
Papaya salad . Summer rolls . Pho . Heaven.
Best pho in Philly
Beef cubes and deluxe pho !
Apparently, a great place to bring the kids.
Always an event !
the pho is amazing, the Bánh mì is amazing, and the Thai iced tea is amazing! this place is just plain amazing! definitely my favorite. - Amy Sumisu
Very fast and casual atmosphere, tables communal, tea is complementary. The large size is humongous, regular is plenty big. Pho is delicious and there's a chicken option. BYOB is permitted. - Janelle Downey
Sweet dinner breads fresh Fish, friendly staff! - LyndaSelena Smalls
Crepes cake - Retna Slater
Banh mi, a Vietnamese hoagie. You can't go wrong with charbroiled pork (thit nuong). I usually grab an egg roll, banh bao (meat stuffed bun), and a Vietnamese iced coffee for the road. - Vivian Nguyen
