Blood Test, Blood Pressure, EKG, Chest X-Ray, Ultrasound , Eye Test. (no urine test). About an hour including changing clothes , paying bill and two trips through the queue at reception.

The girl at the changing room isn’t so clear. Just strip from the waist up and put on the gown. If you take off your pants , you’ll look like a dope and they’ll yell at you.

Don't head directly to the building that says "International travel visitor center shanghai". Registration is at building 1 right by the gate!

There are two counters at the reception in building 3.Ask before you queue as there are no signs at the reception.One is for checking your documents and the other is for submission of your application

This place might freak you out a little, it’s like a factory . Put on gown and wait at different rooms for different tests. Takes about an hour.

Photocopies and passport photos can be done here: photocopies 1RMB, photos 25 RMB. Double check you have all the right forms before you leave the house!

Try to be here earlier to get the lining number. Online reservation means nothing actually. You still need to get the waiting number.

Do not park along the Jingbang Rd, or you will get tickets from police . Heading west and turn right, you will see parking position for short time.

One of the front desk attendants was very disrespectful, even though I had everything in order.

Only accept cash!

Expect 3-4 hours estimated time to complete the process. Most time in long queues and paper work checks

Student visa health checks are in the building near the gate entrance

Don't stress if u forget to make a copy of your passport , they will do it here for 1 rmb

Its more just processing paperwork rather than actual health check. Remember to bring 639 RMB cash though
