Stone Arch Bridge is a bridge Hennepin County Minnesota located in United States.
100 Portland Ave Minneapolis , MN 55401 United States
The most beautiful spot in the Twin Cities . We bring friends visiting from out of town here all the time. And hike up to the Endless Bridge at the Guthrie to get a bird's eye view of the bridge !
A gorgeous, historic bridge that connects the old mill district to downtown. Very photogenic and surrounded by great places to eat and hike . Also an awesome spot for fireworks at the 4th of July.
The bridge itself is beautiful, but if you go to the parking lot by it, you get to see a nice view of the city and of the Guthrie in particular.
Nice Ride bike stations on both sides provide a perfect opportunity to visit the area without making it an all-afternoon affair.
Beautiful sights all around. Don't miss a walk over this bridge if you're visiting MPLS.
Nice place to visit but I dony recomend staying to long... I mran u dont get a true prospective unless u stand on the very edge and look out at the rest but the footing is not on stable ground...
I love walking or running across this bridge . No cars. And views of the Mill Ruins Park , the Minneapolis skyline, the Falls, Nicollet Island and the 35W Bridge .
One of my favorite places in Mpls. Was there for the 4th of July, tons of people but could not have seen a better fireworks show .
Love. I live in the north loop and walk this trail nearly every day. It never gets old!
Built in 1882-83, the bridge is recognized as a National Civil Engineering Landmark . In 1994 the bridge was converted into a pedestrian and bike trail & offers a panoramic view of St. Anthony Falls.
Must see attraction
Gorgeous old stone bridge with well-defined walking and biking lanes.
The homeless encampment nearby cc is a great place to score H or some used needles.
Excellent skyline view , crowded around sunset but for good reason. Worth the trip.
Local treasure - the pedestrian bridge is a great way to see Minneapolis from the water.
Great views ! Very entertaining lots of culture. Good place to check out
Lovely view of the falls and a great place to walk or bike .
The best time is dusk - watching the lights turn on and reflect on the water. The change is quite an event .
walk by the river , cross this at some point, downtown side of river is a nicer walk
Dusk into the night, the perfect time to take in the views at Stone Arch and avoid the hoards of suburbanites.
Make sure you go under the bridge to see the preservation!
THE spot for fireworks ! But get their early, like hours early.
Nice place for a run or walk.
